A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING MR. JEFF FEINBERG FOR BEING SELECTED AS INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR AT THE COMMUNITY CAMPUS OF THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

WHEREAS, Mr. Jeff Feinberg, a resident of Pascagoula, Mississippi, has been selected as Instructor of the Year at the Community Campus of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in recognition of his distinguished service to the college; and

WHEREAS, the award was established by the Alumni Association of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College to honor instructors at the college, and the recipient of the award is chosen from nominations submitted by students, faculty and administrators, on the basis of his teaching excellence, college service, community service and professional development; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Feinberg, an Ingalls training instructor, has been employed at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for ten years; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Feinberg received an associates degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Feinberg has served in the United States Army and currently serves as a Deacon, the Brotherhood Director and a Sunday School teacher for the First Baptist Church in Moss Point; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of this Legislature to recognize and commend such outstanding teachers as Mr. Jeff Feinberg, who has dedicated his career to teaching the young people of this state:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That we do hereby commend and congratulate Mr. Jeff Feinberg for being selected as Instructor of the Year at the Community Campus of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and extend to him our heartiest wishes of success in all his future endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Mr. Jeff Feinberg and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
